The Impact and Introduction of e-Assessment in Schools

Objective
To give a formal introduction to the use of technology to support assessment and learning and in particular the impact on Schools, learners, and administrators. This seminar is NOT a sales pitch, the goal is to inform you about a significant new and growing use of the technology to measure skills, knowledge and understanding in both formal qualifications and in classroom/formative assessment.

Format
A series of presentations covering
- What is e-Assessment
- How it supports learning in the class room
- Good practice, experience and case studies
- The implications for teachers and managers
- Impact on learning and assessment (formative and summative)
The seminar will last 90 minutes.
Chaired by Martin Ripley of 21st Century Learning and featuring case study presentations from selected schools showing how they adopted and used computer based assessment and the impact it had on learners and teachers.

Seminar on Wednesday 18th March 2009
- at 11am attend the Seminar and receive background information on e-Assessment and the use of technology to support learning in the classroom - additionally:
